Straight from Samsung’s S Series, new external hard drives are released by the telecom giant. Here’s a rundown of what’s in store for you this September.

The 3.5? 2TB S3 Station is good for home use while the 640GB 2.5? S2 portable hard drive is for those who have an active lifestyle. It is perfect for on-the-go persons who finds the netbook’s standard 160GB hard drive too small for their taste. Compared with the previous S2 model that is only available in 500GB storage space, the 640GB is the current topnotcher. The 640GB is capable of storing 128,000 pictures, 160,000 MP3 files and 77 hours of definition moves.

Some security features include Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey.

The Samsung S2 Series comes in a variety of colors, and will be available later this month. No information though on the price has been released by Samsung.
